What Is VFX?
Visual Effects, or VFX, is everything you don’t want to explain to your audience. It’s the invisible glue between what was physically filmed and what couldn’t be done safely, practically, affordably, or without summoning something you shouldn’t.
VFX enhances reality, extends environments, adds atmosphere, and creates moments that feel real enough to be unsettling… without pulling the viewer out of the story.
In short:
If it looks natural but impossible, that’s VFX.
Our Approach
We don’t treat VFX like a separate department that shows up at the end. We approach it as part of the storytelling process, designed around performance, lighting, pacing, and genre. Especially in horror, restraint is the effect.
When done right, VFX doesn’t shout. It whispers, lingers, and crawls under the audience’s skin.
The Bottom Line
Good VFX isn’t about spectacle.
It’s about control.
And when the audience feels something is off… but can’t quite say why?
That’s when it’s working.
